Dished & Flanged Ends has been cold forming dished ends since 1983. In July of 1999 the business underwent a change in ownership from its founder Alan Isherwood, to his son Chris Isherwood.

The business occupies two factories with 1100 square metres in Tullamarine, and employs 10 people dedicated to fabrication and cold forming dished and flanged ends.

We currently operate three presses and four flanging machines, along with first-class facilities used in fabrication and manufacturing. We have submerged arc welding and semi-automatic welding machines that has been developed in-house specifically for welding the blanks used in domed heads.

Along with vessel fabrication, the core of the business remains dedicated to manufacturing cold formed heads for:

  • pressure vessels

  • storage vessels

  • rotational moulding

  • flanging of cones

  • flat flanged ends

  • expansion joints
